Watching Rockets games on college campus

Post#1 » by DraftBoy10 » Thu Sep 25, 2008 6:43 pm

I live in Massachusetts, how do I go about this?

Is there a way NBA League Pass can be connected onto my TV, I just got the typical college cable connection with all local channels + basic cable(espn, some hbo, mtv, etc.)

Or do I have to go on the internetz? If so, where, how much, and is it legit? I can't imagine missing my Rockets this season, especially not with my boy Ron Ron.

Join the club pal. I've been in PA since '04. It sucks, but you'll learn to live with the highlights on SportsCenter.

Just get NBA League Pass. I live in Austin, and all they show over here are Spurs games so I'm gonna get League Pass.

Best way to watch the rockets its on the interwebs if you're in an out of market area. I know on my campus you can add on to your cable plan usually digital cable vendors go through the school to offer their students sports, movie packages for much less than regular folk

If you get NBA league pass you have access to the games online on NBA.com as long as you have your satellite info..mainly your account info. Its been 2 years since I set mine up so I can't remember the exact info that you'll need but it was pretty easy.

Too bad you can't get a handful of people to go in on the package together. get the most bang for your buck. Think of all the games you'll waste

NBA LP is the most obvious answer, but I said before i have the basic cable package provided by the College. I don't have digital cable or direct TV, so I don't think I can get league pass.

Where on the intrawebz can I watch this stuff?

League Pass is broadcast on satellite.

Too bad satellite probably isn't too realistic on college campus or I'd suggest something.

As other members mentioned, get League Pass and link your info with NBA.com. You'll then have the ability to watch games live online.

...or, you can find someone who HAS a satellite and get them to split the cost with you. That way, you still get to watch the games online but it won't cost you that much.
