Kevin Durant owned T-Mac in the first half. Carl Landry really made up for the lack of energy in the first half grabbing 8 of his 11 rebounds. Thank god we were making our FT's.

Once again the Rockets stepped it up in the 4th quarter. In all 3 games they' have turned it up a notch to close out games.

A win is a win though.

Decent game, win was the important thing today, Celtics game will be big, players should watch the game from the Pacers today.

I was waiting for a Nuggets win over the Lakers, but...

I'm still waiting for us to blow someone out so that we can play Von Wafer, Dorsey, and Luther. I thought it would be tonight.

Lakers, hornets, jazz and Toronto are in great form early on. Jazz are surviving without deron too. Celtics are pretty rusty early on, but they'll come to play against rockets im sure. I'm sure they won't go deep on their bench when we play them , They actually played scalabrine vs the pacers. He's a poor mans Ryan Bowen.

Regardless of the manner of how we won today, we were in control the whole game. We just turned it up a notch in the 3rd and 4th when it mattered.

Miss the match. Read the comments and reports. Sound not a good game but Rockets were often in control and in no danger of losing.

Another double digit points win. 3rd in a row :)

BTW, if my memory is correct, this is the 18th or 19th consecutive win for Yao in games he had played since last season.

Freakin League Pass didn't show First Half in LA. (Maybe that was a good thing!)
It's early but some trends are starting to emerge.
Brooks has learned his role and is dominating on the court.
McGrady is still the only Rocket who knows how to get the ball to Yao at the right time.
Artest has horrible court vision and esp can't see Scola when Scola flashes open.
W/out McGrady feeds,Scola is becoming the invisible man.
The second unit of Artest,Barry,Brooks,Landry w/Yao is a really nice blend and will win alot of games for the team.
The Rockets sure fall down alot, esp Yao and Artest.
If McGrady isn't driving and playmaking the first unit w/Artest is brutally inept.
McGrady is nowhere near healthy.
On a team that succeeded last yr on getting all the loose balls it was disheartening to see 2 scrambles where the only Rocket who went to the floor was the Rocket w/a bad knee-McGrady. The rest were just leaning over trying to pick the ball up-and failing.
Getting Battier back and T-Mac healthier is going to turn the Rockets into something special.
I can see Adelman going w/a 4Q lineup of Brooks,McGrady,Battier,Artest,Yao by early Feb.

Artest's court finish is fine and he is great at getting the ball to Yao imo.

Sad on some level. Knowing that even with 3 allstars we only have 1 thing we can count on night in and night out.

I'm pretty sure Battier is going to solve that on his return.

We played pretty well two days ago?

I'm glad Adelman kept playing Yao and the other starters when he probaby could have gotten away with sitting him. They haven't spent enough time on the court together and still need to work out chemistry. A lot of our problems today were related to our chemistry on the court, nobody seemed to be able to get the ball to eachother in a place they are comfortable with it.
