The Amazing 2010 Offseason

Post#1 » by RazorJordan32 » Thu Nov 20, 2008 12:32 am

What do you guys think the rockets will do in 2010?
Cut the amount T-mac or Yao makes and sign a a very good role player
or Completly rebuild or what?

I think and hope that when T-mac and yao's contract expires we give T-mac 12 mill, Yao 12.5 mill and do that thing where if their injured they only get half the money for that year. (I wish).

We're just starting the '08-'09 season. It's too early to talk about the summer of '10.

The offseason in 2010 is going to completely screw a half dozen or so teams. All these players will be afte Max contracts, and will leave no Cap room to sign anyone decent to support them. Players need to take a page out of the Celtics book. Sacrifice of self for the team=Championships.

Can you see Lebron taking a 10 Million a year paycut so that his franchise can sign some other decent people? I don't think so.

To quote the WWE Tagteam Cryme Tyme.

Money, money, (Yeah yeah)

It's to early to tell right now. Any thing can happen at this point.

i honestly think that we should go for joe johnson..with the way our offense is run he may fit nicely (of course if we cant get lebron :D) haha
but yea, i'd re-sign yao, go for joe johnson...and if tmac wants to sign for less then go ahead, but if he wants the same amount he is gettin paid now then forget it.
