Marcus Williams?

Post#1 » by Munchlaxatives » Mon Nov 24, 2008 4:37 am

I can't say I've seen him much since his rookie year, but from what I've seen, I thought he could help us out. According to the Wiretap, he wants out of Oakland

If he doesnt get any playing time on a team where they start a Undrafted Rookie (GOD) Anthony Morrow and their PG rotation is weak, do u think we need him?

I think He would be a great fit to help us with the big PG like Williams and now that Biliups is in the west. I like Brooks and Alston, but he could becaome a good rotation player based on line ups. He was a great PG at UConn maybe we could get him cheap!!!

You guys don't need ANOTHER PG, especially one like Marcus who's a poor poor man's Alston (he used to be a good prospect, but faded FAST).

What you should be trying to do is ship one of your Big Men+PG to a Team like the Warriors or to the East to a Team like the Bobcats and try to snatch Gerald Wallace, or one of the Warriors Guards/Forwards. That would allow you to field Artest+T-Mac+Ming and give Artest and T-Mac time to rest during Games and wear them down so much.
BAF 1.0 - Wizards: Year 2
PG: Kemba Walker (32) / Rivers (16) / Felton
SG: Evan Fournier (28) / Evans (20) / Dotson
SF: Gordon Hayward (36)/ Delly (12) / Dudley
PF: Kevin Love (36) / Frye (12) / Ellenson
C: Pau Gasol (32) / Noah (16) / Felicio

Why do you guys want Marcus Williams? I mean his career numbers are worse than Alston. If FG% and 3P% are you guys worrying about.
