Yao looked very good tonight and to the comment above landry is more effective off the bench. I think scola blends better with the first unit. We can shuffle between scola landry and battier based on matchups etc.

Some ppl said why isnt tmac in,,,,,well he still looks very slow and sluggish,,,,i think tmac is getting minutes just to get him back in game shape and knock down shots and find guys open. tmac is also very good at hitting yao on the entry pass,,,sometimes hell have a decent jumper but fake it to draw the defense and give it to yao even deeper,,,,very unselfish good ball movement. Artest kept wade in check great game overall.

Cant wait till battier and tmac get healthy id rather have injury problems early then later. 10-5 with tons of games on the road and no battier and a sluggish tmac,,,,wow cant wait to see what this team looks at the end of the season. Worse comes to worse we have plenty of options at the trade deadline with a very deep bench

Good news from Shane...he says he'll back by the weeks end. I expect McGrady to sit once Battier comes back. And its even better to see Artest starting to turn it up.

The guy cant run its as simple as that,,,,without his athleticism he can only involve teamates and hit 3s and knock down free throws. Im not defending him cuz thers nothing to defend,,,,the guy shouldnt be playing

I hope he plays against SA. Ginobli's just coming back from injury too. It'll be a good warm-up game for him

Thats great news,,,,,it will be great to get artest and battier on the floor together and get them to mesh. Tmac is now more familiar with artests game so he can sit and come back and shouldnt effect chemistry.

Hopefully battier will be able to perform close to a 100%

I think that game is a must win,,,,considering how we blew that game against the spurs. We really need to take it to them i cant wait for that game

As bad as Tmac's been playing, we need him. Eventhough he's not playing well, his presence on the court is something this team desperately needs. Even with the return of Battier, I'm not convinced that we can be anything more than an above 500 team with tmac sitting. He can't get drive pass anyone anymore but teams still fear him. Above all, we need his passing. He's still the best entry passer to Yao by far on this team.

However, if resting will allow Tmac to recuperate and get back to atleast 90%. I say go for it.

Nice win, defense on Wade was real good. Yao dominated as he should have, T-Mac sucked, and Artest had a nice game.

Is he better than Scola, overall I would say yes. But that doesn't mean he should start. We need firepower with that 2nd unit. Plus Landry is finishing a lot of games, which is more important than starting.

Also I'm really liking the ball movement. We are swinging the ball around a lot, getting good shots. The TO's are a problem, but that's going to happen when you just starting to passing it around so much. This team is really showing a lot of untapped potential, and Adelman is putting his imprint on the offense finally. Just got to get healthy, but that's every friggin' year.

How about Yao getting a call when Chalmers breathed on his back? And Scola drawing charges while moving his feet, brilliant.

1. You're new.

2. Chalmers put 2 hands in his back. 2 hands = foul. Should the rule be different for Yao, just because he's big? Should it be 2 hands + tripping = foul? Surely this is not what you mean.

3. Scola's charge call was textbook. His feet were set, he was outside the circle, and he got there in time. That's a charge. Sorry if you don't like it, but rules are rules.

4. Maybe you should just watch for a while. Not so much with the typing.

5. If it's any consolation, Scola should get an Oscar for the way he acted when Wade put his off arm into him on the strong side. THAT was a flop.

When the only reason they won their championship was because Wade was officiated like he was a ballerina on a football field?

Yeah.

Yeah.

i know

Yao usually don't get much foul calls
last night was one of those weird night they are actually calling some fouls for him
i guess maybe China is complaining that Yao is not putting on good stats on the scoreboard
