we get kill on the boards when yao is out of the game. We have no inside defense when yao is out. why have we not sign moutumbo yet.

and yeh we need to move artest to the bench

Should've addressed this issue in the off-season. Von Waffle, Luther Head... we have too many SGs. We should trade for a big man.

We are trying to get a big man or trade luther to make room for Mutombo/another big man. These things take time, usually later in the season when a losing team starts to liquidate for the offseason, that's when your chips have the most value. We should be fine until then b/c the west is horrible this year. I don't care if the Lakers win 70 games as long as the rest of the conference is around 45-50 wins. The playoffs is a whole another beast.

I know he is raw but i'm pretty sure he can rebound and block shot already. He can contribute if god forbid one of our big men goes down.

In all seriousness our lack of size on the frontcourt outside of Yao isn't that big of a concern in the regular season, it's the postseason that is the problem. I cannot fathom how we could possibly win a 7-game series against the length of the Lakers or Boston's frontcourt considering we're a half-court team.

Sure, I'm only 6'2, smoke a pack a day, have a tendency to get grouchy, and I'm under-employed. (Plus my wife will have to travel with me.) But gimme a bottle of vodka on game night and I'll run in there just long enough to puke on somebody. That ain't nothin', strategically-speaking. Ever been puked on? Right as you're coming off a pick? Takes you right out of your rhythm. Makes the floor slippity sloppity, too. (I can aim for the eyes. Ever tried to shoot blind? Damn near impossible.)
