You know if doctors told him he should rest it, then I would have no problem. But he goes to get a second opinion, supposedly a widely renowned one at that, who basically agrees with what the team doctors have told him, for him to play through it. He's not 100% obviously but he can still play, and still have a positive effect on the floor and if doctors recommend playing through it then basically it means T-Mac is well... being T-Mac.

IMO him playing on a weak knee will just cause other injuries , even if he can't make his knee worse , when your leg is weak you put too much pressure on the other leg and him limping up and down the court is just another injury waiting to happen.

He can barely drive , he can't do ntohing on pick n rolls but shoot and he struggles badly on defense.

Let him rest and hope he gets 100% because if not our season is over.

Man what are u talking about,,,,the other doctor didnt say play through it,,,,,he said take another week off and then slowly get into game shape.

Please tell me how doctors saying play through the pain at the beggining of the season to strengthen your knee,,,,and then 15 games in his knee is in worse shape then when he started. Doesnt seem to me like the doctors advice worked,,,,,,,,if it did his knee would be better after 15 games not worse.

You also say hes not 100% obviously,,,,,i dont even think hes 50% he cant even drive the only reason hes had half decent stats is hes improved his free throw shooting over the summer and his 3 pointers have been going down. The fact is he clearly came back to early and the doctors who said he could play were wrong because hes not just limping around the odd time,,,,,,he recently was limping around the whole game.

Tmacs looked horrible this year other then his free throw shooting and 3 pointers so let him rest and then come back.

The pressures on yao to lead this team and if he cant put up 20 points a game which hes been struggling to do,,,,,were gonna be in big trouble

The statement the Rockets released said the doctor he visited Monday agreed with the original diagnosis of the team doctors. However T-Mac is now quoted as saying that wasn't the case so there are conflicting stories.
