He was at 50%, now he's at 70%... what determines that number? Hematocrit? Percentage of cardiac output? Percentage of saturated oxygen?

People should refrain using that number which has no meaning. If he's hurt he's hurt. If he's healthy, he's healthy.

And again McGrady doesn't believe in preventive medicine and it's affecting his game today.

We have a hurt and injured team with the same training and medical staff every single year. Why not fire these people?

McGrady has been great ever since he's been back, but one bad game on his fourth game in five nights, and he's "done". The dude is still playing his knee into shape, he's been operating on one leg and playing exactly like we've needed him to up until tonight, so STFU, and stop with the drama. He's done surprisingly well since his return, especially compared to how he played early on, so have some damn patience, and quit whining like little girls.

He's not done, his leg still needs strengthening. Had you been listening to the announcers in the other games he's played, you would hear things like "McGrady clearly not his usual self, he has no lift" or "McGrady's killing us on one leg". After a little bit of rest, he comes back and gets a triple double, so you just sound like morons when you say that he should retire.

We just need to stay in the top 5 seeds in the west until all star break. we usually play well after tht. About Tracy, i dunno wtf happened. Yao was excellent, and so was Rafer. But I think the main goal is to win all the games tht we shud win and try to steal some of the hard games, and we'll be fine.
So kick me when I’m down, because I swear to you, I’ll be back up. And when I get back up, I’m going to sit back, and I’m going to laugh, man, because I’m going to have the last laugh."- Tracy McGrady

Apparently Yao said after the game "We'll see you in Houston." :)

We have to beat the Hornets, not only for divisional purposes, but for our confidence to propel us forward. It's early in the season, and beating a good team early doesn't mean much in the long run, but it's one of those type of heated division games for battle of first place. It wasn't the loss last night against Cleveland that hurt us, it was Yao picking up fouls unfairly or not, and McGrady deciding he wasn't going to show up even before the game started, and failed to expose the biggest mis-match in the game (besides LeBron v. anybody, or Battier) with West guarding him. Hopefully with today's rest and Christmas, we can get healthy and have a bounce back game like we've had, but I'm still waiting for that day when we are injury free/100% and no excuses. It seems every game there seems to be one of those two, and it's so damn frustrating.

Two losses in a row when the schedule gets a little tougher would be awful.

We basically played 3 quarters without Yao and the whole game without T-Mac with the way he was dragging that leg around. Flip those two scenarios around and perhaps we get a different outcome tonight. T-Mac just couldn't go 4 games in 5 nights on that knee. Yao got screwed by the refs. Nothing to hang our heads about here.

Ditto.

Also, I'm disappointed at how many people are dogging this team. Are you guys kidding me? We're just now getting back to full health, and we played the 2nd best team in the league (and the only team undefeated at home) on their home court and lost a very close battle. Things very well may have been different had Yao not gotten screwed, and even if Yao didn't get screwed, is there any shame in losing to Cleveland on their home court this early in the season? I don't think so. Adelman is still trying to get this offense as good as he can get it, and he's still trying to find the rotations/lineups he wants...we're fine guys. We're 3rd in the West (we're half a game ahead of the Hornets but their winning percentage is better...gay), our team is just now getting healthy, our offense is finally starting to click, and we still have a couple of moves to make (hopefully signing Dikembe and giving Dorsey some PT and maybe starting Brooks).

The play that sums up this game for Houston: 3rd quarter, Lebron's on a fast break and gets fouled at the free throw line, the instant replay shows that he clearly takes 3 steps and travels, but the refs count the bucket and give im a free throw. It was after that play that I said f*ck it, if the refs are going to give him sh*t like that then we're not going to be able to win this game.

Cheer up Houston, this is our best start in years, and this team has championship caliber talent.
