Tmac played over 40 minutes last night. Guess how many times he drove to the basket? 1 time, when the Rockets were up by 1 point, with 2 minutes left in the game (and he missed both freethrows).

That's how bad Tmac's physical condition is in recent year. At age 29, he is playing like 39. Tmac is not Tmac anymore.

Its his fault, he put himself in this mess. He had poor physical conditioning in Orlando; so it just all fell on him when he arrived here and was in his later 20s. Hes also become more passive, McGrady had a high load to carry in Orlando *sigh* but once he realized he has another star to work with, he doesn't think he has to put as much effort. And the fact that he magically turns into superman when Yao goes down should do that theory a little more.

But yeah, we've got to work with what we've got. Maybe hes just not trying as hard? And maybe waiting come playoff time? We better hope :-?

Maybe someday people will realize it, but the Bucks are not a "bad team" anymore. That was last year or the year before.

They'll have to realize after this next stretch when we'll finally be able to attack a typical schedule with a team at full strength. Then we'll separate ourselves from .500 in the positive direction and that's what the casual fan responds to. They aren't looking at the Hollinger rankings which has us at the 11th best team in the NBA, not even factoring in the ridiculous amount of back to backs (last night was yet another), and over-abundance of injuries.

Even though he's younger than a lot of other players that have fallen off, the thing behind it and timing are the same - caused by injuries/physical deteriation after 8-11 years in the league. TONS of players/stars fall off that way, not just McGrady. Lots of guys fall off even faster than that.

Kobe is older than Tmac. Kobe have suffered season-ending injuries. Kobe still can throw down sick dunks.

What, a broken pinky finger? Oh man, you're right. That's much worse than back and (probably related) knee injuries. You can't dunk without a knee, sorry. You're also looking at one guy, likely because the other guy you're looking at used to be compared to him a lot. Different people recover in different ways from different injuries with different treatments.
