i sill wish we had used sf3s contract and the pick along with head or hayes or whatever and attempted to get camby. i know thats a stretch but even if its not camby, i'm sure we could have gotten sean williams.. dude was just sent to d league.
and if we traded all those players we could still sign mutombo.
Maybe, but do you really want him? He's almost as much of an idiot as Eddie Griffin.
The basketball player, not the actor.
(Not this guy)

But recent news about Les not wanting to pay too much luxury tax and the way Boston and San Antonio are going after him. I thought we are losing him for sure. I'm glad he's back. Love him even more, not because he's back, because he's not going after a ring and getting the best out of his charity. I know Les, T-Mac, Yao, and others donate lots of money for his charity stuff.
True, true. He's showing loyalty and the right priorities. IOW a very non-punkish mindset, seemingly rare in the NBA these days.
Also, Jove, he's comprehensible if you just imagine it's Louis Armstrong talking. It'd be funny to hear Deke singing 'Wonderful World'.
Also, also, yay!

If Yao Ming ever goes into college coaching, he might be a strong recruiter. Dikembe Mutombo said Yao called two or three times a day to convince him to come back, reaching the point where Mutombo said he considered turning his phone off.
“He has so many cell phones,” Yao said of Mutombo’s practice of having different phones for basketball contacts, friends, celebrities and dignitaries around the world. “He has so many of them, but I know every one. He couldn’t turn them all off.

Expected after the Francis deal. Glad it finally got done, he's still one of the most effective backup big man in the league, and his locker room/veteran presence is unmeasureable.
