IMO Adelman's job is very very safe.
55 wins last season was our best in a long time and he did it with a ton of injuries , we won 2 playoff games without Yao and Alston who was out half the series , and we were in eveyry games besides game 6.
This year it's still a better start than we ever had with JVG and also a better start than last year , and we are doing it basically without Mcgrady.
We can turn this season around quickly and I believe we will , the key is T-Mac starting to lay like T-Mac.

“He didn’t miss?” , “That’s fantastic. That’s tremendous. I wish I could have a day like that. I dream of the day I could go 12-for-12.”-Rafer Alston

We aren't on pace to win 70. He's so fired.

Fire Adelman already. I mean he's only had a handful of games of Battier, Artest, Mac, and Yao playing, and none at full strength. How are they not in the midst of another 22 game winning streak?

Adelman has showcased some dumb coaching. It's reasonable to come up with the assumption that he's not adequate.

Chuck did a great job on KG in the second.. he was a big reason we kept it close then took the lead before half
One possibility is that he neither watched the game nor read any report pertaining to it.
lol at this jazz fan hanging on my every word. Worship me, mormon. Glad you are watching Rocket games, rather than boring jazz games with european flops galore

Mr. grond a Jazz fan? I always thought he's a die-hard Rockets fan.

Well, he's acting like a snobbish know it all. I can't stand those type of fans from any board. With his assumption that anyone with a differing opinion, didn't watch the game except him. If mr Grond wishes to respond, don't bother. He's on ignore. I'm not gonna argue with forum gods.

Sucky getting some love. Way to go Sucky.
By the time Chuck Hayes was given one of the NBA's toughest assignments, matched up with Kevin Garnett, the job had become even tougher.
Garnett was already on a roll before Hayes got in the game. Hayes, however, slowed Garnett long enough for the Rockets to turn things around in a performance they later called a key to the win.
"He came in in the second quarter, and he just battled Garnett when he really had it going," Rockets coach Rick Adelman said. "I can't give Chuck enough credit. He hasn't been playing and he took on the challenge. He kind of set the tone in that first half for us."
Though Hayes has often been used as a defensive specialist against the top scoring power forwards, Garnett is a particularly tough matchup. The shots Hayes usually forces opposing big men to take — jumpers often a step or two deeper than usual — are the shots Garnett covets.
"He does such a good job of not bringing (the ball) low so I can't swipe it down," Hayes said. "He has a high release and a fade to his shot. My best position is if he is going to fade and shoot that shot, try to get him as far away from the basket as I can and try to do what Shane (Battier) does so well and get a good contest of his shot.
"I did my best. He started off the game tremendously hot. He had them on fire. He was in rhythm. When I got in there and got on him in the second quarter, they tried to get him going again. I did everything in my power to try not to let that happen again."
Sucky getting some love. Way to go Sucky.
