Well deserved, honestly without Von I doubt we win any of our recent games without our starters. He's been great for us filling the need of a consistent 3 point shooter and attacker.

Been hoping the Chron would hold off on praising this guy. He is a former D-Leaguer and I feel if he gets some love he might start to relax a bit. Truthfully he is has been something we have needed for a while. McGrady is our only athletic wing...and now Wafer adds to that. He attacks in transition...he can finish around the basket and he can make a 3. His defense isn't real good but thats ok. We got defenders...we just needed more guys who could use their athletic ability offensively.

He has good offensive skills, very athletic, but has alot to learn defensively and although he is probably one of our better finishers at the basket, he still can improve in that area. Hopefully he doesn't have luther heads learning curve, and get better every year.

I hope we sign him longterm next year , for not too much money off course.

He can turn itno a nice bench player in this league if he can keep the fire when he gets paid.
