Lets sign Darius Miles!

And screw up the Blazers cap system!

http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wireta ... out_miles/

They said they'd sue if a team signed him for unethical reasons, but I say we play him 1 game, then threaten to play him in another, ONLY if we get Webster in exchange for Head  I'm just kidding, but what I don't understand is, how can Portland know a team signed him for reasons to screw up their cap system? Like how are they going to prove that in court? Doesn't make any sense, but I say we sign him for 2 games, just for purposes of screwing up the cap system for the Blazers :D

They should be thankful that he needs 10 games.

I mean , the point of voiding a contract because of an injury is that the guy can't physically play anymore , well obviously Miles can still play.

Lol, not Shay hes already played 8. He needs to play 2 more games and they owe him 18 million dollars. If he doesn't the Blazers could potentially sign a BIG free agent this summer or the summer after. And you don't want that to happen with all of the major potential already on their team. They are or will be a major rival in the western conference for many years, and adding a big name won't make it any easier. So from a business standpoint and to limit their potential, someone has to step up. I have a feeling Mark Cuban has something up his sleeve ;)

Yeah I know he only needs to more , I meant that he needs 10 in the 1st place.

Don't worry I am sure someone will pick him up and play him. :D

Darius was released because they did not want his contract to be guaranteed.. So then they turnaround and resign him to a 10day contract because he showed some progress. This is all my opinion and I do not think it has anything to do with the blazers.

They have the best potential in the league and they got the best size out of any team. I wonder wtf they're trying to get rid of Outlaw who is mainly a perimeter player that compliments their identity as a big long team and can finish inside with ease. This team is better off than us come playoff time and has many good things to go on. Portland seems to have the best luck in acquiring big tall giants. It's really uncanny how guys like Rasheed W. Sabonis, and etc have come and gone and they still can get the quality bigs like Aldridge, Oden, and Pryzbilla to maintain the course. Not fair

Even if the Blazers threat was legit, they would still have no case.

13points on 4-6 shooting and 5-7 from FT line
