The reason he gave up on the motion is because no one is moving... ala Alston. Imagine if Alston would cut to the basket? SOME type of movement, we wouldnt have to worry about someone's shot. That is like saying a PG like Tony Parker wouldn't be good on this team. Which I think he would. Maybe its just me, but anything is better than Alston atm.

Of course Andre Miller could benefit Houston. Don't tell me Rafer Alston is your answer at point, he is nothing but a good backup point at best. Houston would have to give philly a good offer, maybe philly would do Battier, Aaron brooks type deal for Miller. Miller has been big this season for us.

And thats why I wouldnt want HOU trading for him. Since Miller cant shoot the difference between Alston and Miller on this team isnt worth Battier and Brooks. But yeah, he is an updgrade. I rather trade for Hinrich than Miller though. He can actually spread the floor.

If TP was on this team, nothing would improve with ball stoppers like tmac and Ron artest. Therefore!!! Since you want to keep ron and tmac (i'm assuming), it wouldn't be wise to get a PG that can't shoot for crap.

Guy, Htown-tmac is right in saying Andre Miller would be an upgrade to RAlston.

Both of you guys are right....

The answer to the thread is yes, Andre miller would benefit the rox in some aspects and kill us in others. Should we make a run for Miller?? NOOO b/c of the reasons Red96 said....

I do believe that Andre is an upgrade over Rafer, but nevertheless it's interesting to point out that RA has never dealt with a non-range-threat-PG like Andre.

Porter, Ainge, Hardaway, Price, Williams, Bibby, and Jackson... none of their game resembles that of Andre's. It'd be interesting to see how Miller's offense fits into RA's system.
