Last year he was fine playing 35 minutes. Right now he still looks like he is not in shape, so he'll have to stick to 30 mpg for now, but I think Adelman will increase his minutes back up to 35 as the season goes in.

What is simply doomed to fail is having Yao play 40 minutes a game. He will be awful in the last 5 minutes and that's when you tend to need him most. 35 minutes is fine once Yao gets his conditioning back.

He's on steroids tonight, I swear. normally he spends so much energy just to get the ball when he's fronted, he'd be too exhausted to do anything after and just pass the ball back out. tonight, He was fronted, doubled and tripled, and he still put the ball in the basket.

I can careless about regular season, as long as Yao play like this in the playoffs.

They were trying to front him at the end, but he was moving much quicker(and sealing his man off) and the rockets exposed the fronting by swing passes.

They were calling fouls because he was aggressive, unlike 95% of his career.

This is why i hate him, if only he put this effort 80% of his games and than brings it to the playoffs. But nope, we get the meek Yao, who needs somebody to piss him off.

He was hot tonight, but being guarded by two rooks,a weak biedrins , and other non genuine Centers, gave him alot of confidence. But he was really hot and aggressive tonight

Amare looks less explosive. He lost some weight/ strength during the offseason. He looks smaller to say the least.

Chalk up another game, i wish Yao can do every night or at least in the playoffs. Just be big and play like you own the paint.

Disappointing to know this Yao won't last, we just continue to see Flashes of the Yao where Rocket fans can say "Yeah he is that good"
