This is a great road win. We managed to blow another 4th quarter lead, but like Iggy said, the fact that we were able to hold on and walk out of Denver with a W is huge for the confidence building of this team. I'm also impressed that we didn't completely collapse and lose when both Yao and Scola fouled out. This is a different Rockets team from the one we've grown accustomed to. Guys like Artest and Lowry are playing tough, and we're very talented and play great team ball. Landry and Von Wafer have been stellar for us off the bench, Shane hasn't shown up in the box scores but he's still playing good basketball, Scola is playing like he's on roids or something, Artest has been filling his role perfectly, and our PG combo is giving us so much more than Rafer Alston did.

PS- Check out Alston's statline for Orlando tonight...seems like he's staying true to form.

Scola's playing like he's been using illegal, performance-enhancing paella!
A classic Mediterranean dish, paella is usually made with seafood, anti-oxidant-rich spinach, asparagus, peas, garlic, onion, and peppers to make a bountiful dinner that is as easy on the eyes as it is good for the heart and our general health. That sir, constitutes an unfair advantage. Using antioxidants in public! It's small wonder that this sort of thing is often smuggled through customs.
(part of the joke was also that paella is spanish/mediterranean and Scola's Argentinian, but really I don't even know what the joke was, just thought performance-enhancing paella was a funny concept)

Are you folks angry at Yao's 6th foul?

The last 2 minutes sure was scary, with the 2 front court fouling out.

I am not angry at the foul. It was dumb, and could have potentially cost us the game, but if we continue to play our good defense and run our plays. We should do good. With or without them. Scola hardly plays in crunch time anyways and they where getting shut down anyways

I was surprise the Nuggets didn't play the "Hack-a-Chuck(Hayes)".

A good win, but what worries me, is our 4th qtr play. We seem to go to sleep down the stretch. Not good if we wish to go deep into the playoffs.

Who cares now. Patty Mills is up. Go St. Mary's, (I love this team cause there are 5 Aussies in the side.) I hope Gonzaga go down like Bitches. If Patty leads St Mary's to the Final Four, man, his stock will rise considerably.

FYI, I have no allegiance in college Ball, I just love seing Patty dominate. What really gets me, is we get more College Ball, than NBA in Australia. it sucks big time. I have seen one Rockets game all season.

Take the good with the bad, but take the win too.
