hes soft. but he can afford to be he is 7'6.....

It's ironic how you call Yao a sissy, when the guy on your screenname is the most girlish player to ever play the game since V-Span.

I agree, but though he is not a sissy, we might have to throw Mike Miller there to. Unless he goes back to his Orlando days.

I wouldnt trade yao straight up for Bossh. But wow u guys are seriously hating on bosh. You all must be delusional if you think Yao in 3 years will be as effective as Bosh. Bosh is a very versatile player not to say we need a PF but Yao in a few years definately wont be on the level of bosh. Bosh is more reliable and still has a large upside. This is Yao at his best right now.

Like I said i wouldnt trade yao straight up for bosh,,, but to call bosh a sissy you clearly dont watch basketball. Yao will never be considered for MVP and in a few years I think Bosh will once he leaves the raptors. Just my opinion with Yao this is what you get, and with Bosh hes a hard worker like Yao but he has the body to keep improving physically and has more of an upside.

I also would take Bosh over Amare in a second, Bosh is a better defender and on and off the court leader then amare aside from theh orrible season the raptors have had. I also think bosh will become even more explosive and amare has lost a step since that surgery even though hes still a very good all star

The Bosh being a sissy has more to do with Shaq's comments than about anything.

Also, do you know how much revenue that Yao brings in? Now and even after he retires.

He does not understand the language of business and thinks that Yi could be a replacement for Yao in that aspect. LOL Yi is equivalent to Wang Zhi Zhi and Mengke Bateer when attracting the same market LOL..

It's quickly becoming apparent that Jordan is a horrible judge of talent. Remember in 2000 when Darius Miles was coming out? Jordan announced, quite publicly, that if HE had the #1 pick he would choose Miles. The following year, he wasted it on Kwame Brown. Oh, and don't foget that Jordan sent Rip packing to Detroit for Jerry Stackhouse.

With the Bobcats, he hasn't done that much better. In '04 Okafor fell into his lap at #2, and that was a no brainer back then. The next year, however, he got fellow NC alums Felton (a decent player) at 5 and Sean May at 13. And, of course, Morrison at 3 in '06 over Brandon Roy, Randy Foye, Rudy Gay, and Rajon Rondo in hindsight is worth getting fired over.

(Now Jordan is saying that drafting Morrison wasn't his idea. Maybe it wasn't, but he still gets the blame because he's the President of Basketball Operations... or whatever they call him there in Charlotte)

I think the lesson here is that if you're working for the Bobcats, and Jordan likes a guy in the draft, don't pick that guy if you can help it.

Darius Miles was supposed to be the next big thing back then, and was on his way before injuries... Kwame was not Jordan's idea... Morrison was. Morrison was not actually a bad pick, because at that time he was one of the best players in college. He looked like he wasa going to be one of the best players in the draft at that time. Okafor, of course no brainer, Felton is turning out good, and May is also stuggling with injuries. Jerry Stackhouse at that time was in his prime and playing better than Hamilton. Look at the BIG picture and not just how they are playing today.

2 things.

1. 2006 year Yao was #3 in MVP before he got hurt mid-season he was averaging 25pts and 10 rebounds. This year he was up to #8 in MVP voting from ESPN. He won't ever get MVP during the regular season because he is unselfish. He doesn't take enough shots and he trust his team a little too much. IF he magically started to average 18 shots per game, than he might be top 3 in MVP depending on record. However saying he was never considered MVP is untrue.

2. Bosh is Soft, just like Yao. However if you flip flop players. One can argue that Raptors would be a much better team this year and they would probably have more wins. If Bosh was on the Rockets, our offensive would look great, but our Defense takes a dive unless Deke can play 35 mins a game. Than again if you replace Bosh with Scola, I only see a slight increase in numbers. Scola is pretty much a 15pt 10 rebound guy (when T-mac was out). I also am unsure how Bosh would work with Artest, probably the same way with Yao as both Bosh and Yao are not vocal leaders.

I like Bosh as a player but we would have Scola and Landry. We dont have a PF problem. We would have to move 1 if not both and find a C that can play starter minutes. Deke may be gone next year and he couldn't play those minutes all year anyways.

I forgot to mention Hayes, Dorsey, and Cook are all on contracts for next year.
