thank god we won. i missed the game, but i checked the box scores to see the stats and noticed that i saw Yao Ming take only EIGHT shots and ONE free throw attempt?! are you serious? Was he shut down fronted like always because he's weak and soft?, or was it that his team mates didnt want to give him the ball? Kyle Lowry got more shots than he did. Thats just straight up Unacceptable. hes been in the league for about at least 7 years and still, he struggles to get position in the post.

I won't worry too much about that. As long as we secure the 2nd seed in early April, we have the option to tank the remaining games. With the higher seed, we can control our own destiny which includes our choosing of a preferable matchup.

Oh you mean like how the Jazz chose us by not showing up for the Spurs game last year. I think every day I hate Utah a little more. I can't wait until Deron Williams gets out of there so I can openly be a fan of his. Can't have great talent like that just stuck in a merry go around of losing and cheap tactics that exists in Utah.

LOL get real. We lost like 22 straight in San Antonio. And I would have much rather played the Spurs with HCA than face them in the WFC without it, which would have happened had we beaten the Lakers.

He was defended quite well (and conventionally) by Thomas in the first 3 qtrs. In the 4th he started hot and the spurs went to the front which more or less ended his post play and sucked our momentum a bit as we looked to try to get him the ball. Coming down the stretch he gave up trying to post and just played p'n'r with Brooks up top and got back into the game with some key assists and an offensive rebound/dunk. It wasn't quite T-Mac/Yao p'n'r, but it worked. Phew.

Great win. Finally, We have noticed that Yao could pass the ball well just like old days in CBA.
And, I think we are ready for the playoff. Bring it up, even it is Utah.

this is the kind of game I liked. this is how a good team plays ball. hang hard, no panic, hold on strong. we made some mistakes but our mentality is so much stronger. Mentality is what had brought substantial changes to our game. loved it

Well, that and an offensive interference no-call.

Thanks, refs. You guys finally helped us.

Its been a good week for us in terms of mental toughness. As usual though..consistency is the name of the game for the Rockets. Lets see what we do in Utah on Tuesday.

Big win for the Rockets. Seen some improvement over the past week after that miserable ending against the Spurs at home last week.

wow, I honestly didn't see this coming, what a win, on the road. Scola from the stats looked AMAZING, Yao I heard was good when it mattered, and again can't stress how good a win this was.

Rockets' next stop: at Utah taking on the flopping Jazz team.

or the team that outflopped the rest of the league, better put. and they had a pact the refs two, which is "I sit, you call".
