Our team fg% is the lowest of all playoff teams

at .450 fg efficiency, ranked 20/30. So basically we have the most inefficient offense out of all playoff teams including the east.. You can't win without being a good offensive team..We need upgrades at the wing positions in the offseason.

No surprise with Ron Artest on this team

i wouldnt go by these stats. you mean to tell me that were not as efficient as a 27-34 team in the east in the 8th spot? were winning games, not all but a lot. so what if we have the lowest? we'll be in the playoffs and anything can happen. once the postseason starts, you can throw out all the regular season stats.

We can't win without being a good offensive team??? The 2004 Detroit Pistons shot 43.5% from the field. The 2005 Spurs shot 45.3% from the field. The truth is if you can get stops, a flaccid offense isn't as big a deal.

Isn't this what Adelman was brought in for anyway??? He was supposed to be some sort of offensive guru.

On the flip side, that means our defense is getting the job done.

As cliche as it may sound, that's why defense wins championships.

Imagine if our offence is clicking. It will be pretty hard to beat us then

Well the thing is our defense is worse than previous years, mainly because of the change in the rotation with players like Brooks, Wafer, and Barry getting significant minutes. Also because we often go small when we go into our bench, at times even running 2 PGs.

But back to the point, I would use the FG% since the all-star break as a better indicator since the beginning of the season was just a mess.

You are actually wrong. Our defense is the best that it has been all season long. You see names like Brooks, Wafer, and Barry and assume that it is worse, but overall as a team it is good... Also Brooks has improved.

Yes defense wins championchips, but our defense isnt even that great, we get exposed by great offensive teams like the Lakers and Jazz. Bottom line is, Adelman was supposed to make our offense better, but it hasn't happened. We live and die by the 3, and if that isnt falling we're garbage because the only real finishers around the basket are Landry and Lowry.

Without our great defense we would be getting blown out by these teams... We matchup well with the Lakers, just do not have a closer and they have the best one in the league... Jazz is our biggest matchup problem. Every good defense has problems. Our main problem is on the offensive end.

What BayBaller said. Otherwise, you're including TMac, Alston, Artest's well-under-400 start to the season, and some other mishmash. Even Scola was only shooting something like 49% for a while. If you still want to say we're the same team now that we were in January, by all means you have that right, but I'm going to tilt my head and look at you funny.

p.s. even with the full season's stats, our 3p% is a pretty nice .375. Most of the other front runners shoot somewhat better, but again, our stats are handicapped by the first half of the season
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

I said our defense isn't as good as previous years, which it isn't when players like Deke, Hayes and Alston getting major minutes. Obviously it is better now than earlier in the season with a 1-legged T-Mac and a hobbled Artest/Battier.

Actually check out the statistics since our 16-5 run, they're going to be MUCH better, defensive wise, we're the best defensive team since the all-star break, so I'm pretty sure that our overall offense isn't THAT bad.
