What was that in reference to?
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

I wish this thread was around the entire season...imagine the stuff we could have now.

Too bad Rafer isn't still here, "when he's making that, he's an all-star caliber PG."

Tie for my favorite Clyde moments:

1. The first time he slipped and said "pissed off". The same game he went back and did it again just to prove he could, cuz he's 'The Glide'.

2. Last time we played the Spurs- the last 20 seconds or so. I had heard on 610 mention how Clyde sometimes gives generic answers cuz he's not paying attention, but this was amazingly bad. Bill asks, what do you think is gonna happen here. Clyde responds by saying the spurs are definitely going to the pick and roll with parker and duncan.....the rockets had the ball at the time.

Classic Clyde. At least he dresses well.

^ classic. #2 makes me giggle.

It's funny because as bad as Clyde is as an analyst, I really like him. I enjoy listening to him personally. Probably because he was such an amazing player and seems to get very underrated these days, but I really don't have a problem with listening to him at all, even if he's clueless sometimes.

I do miss Calvin though, him and Bill could discuss cookies all night long and make it sound amazing.

I met Calvin once back when he worked with 610. I never would've guessed he was rich and famous, he looked like any other guy from the 3rd ward(I was at UH) and he was a nice guy. However, I don't think I'd like him 82 games a year plus playoffs.

I like worrell b/c he tells it like it is. When we were sucking with Mac/ron stopping the ball he called them out and said how much better the 2nd unit moved the ball.

Clyde says some good things, but mainly just states the obvious. Him and Bullard. hahahhaha

Other than NJ...every team has its fair share of noob commentators.
