Scoala and Pablo Prigioni

Post#1 » by wadero » Mon Mar 30, 2009 5:13 pm

I think the Rockets are going to make a run at Pablo Prigioni this off season. He and Scola where basicly the Stockton and Malone of Europe. With Scola coming up to be resigned I think it would be a great Idea. Him brooks and Lowery!! I know we dont need 3 PG but Pablo Prigioni can play some 2. What do you guys think?

I wouldn't mind it, but are there any sources to confirm this rumor?

Baller24,
Last summer there were a couple of stories on the Rockets going after Prigioni. After the initial report it was clarified that the Rockets and Prigioni had serious talks about him coming over this upcoming summer as his buyout was way too steep for last yr.
Now whether they were all retelling the same rumor or not,I don't know.
AS a veteran pass-first PG,who is a FA this yr,and may not take all that much to sign,I can see why the Rockets might be interested.
Incidentally,in one of those coincidences real life brings, shortly after the reports of Rocket interest in him cropped up,the American player who went from Spain to China and got attacked and has a blog, wrote very glowingly of Prigioni's leadership,ball-handling and basketball IQ.
