Even if he was willing to come off the bench, the size of our line up would be hilarious

That would make our bench much better, but AB and Lowry would be pointless and we would have to deal some other players out to fit that style of play. I get what you're saying VC.

Since nobody knows if Mcgrady can even play next yr,the only team's that would be interested would be looking to clear cap space in the future.
Shaq is expiring after next season just as McGrady,BUT MCGRADY'S SALARY NEXT YR IS MORE THAN SHAQ'S. No,Phoenix would NOT do a Shaq for McGrady trade.

Not to talk off subject but is this Yao Ming first 70 game season since coming to th NBA. He has played a total of 74 up to this point ( what a relief ). Well if anybody know if he had another 70 game season please post bakk.

It's still pretty impressive considering he was unable to stay healthy for the past few seasons.
But yeah, Yao averaged over 80 games in his first 3 seasons.

I don't see why we'd need Shaq, it'll be too much a liability defensively to start them both together, and having Shaq come off the bench destroys the purpose of acquiring him.

Makes no sense.

Suns don't do it because:
- take on salary
- now weak at center
- now glut at SG/SF
- that is, assuming McGrady even recovers and plays next year, which he may not

tip of the iceberg.

Yao never missed a game his first 2 seasons and only 2 games in his 3rd season.

Yao has played in 478 games in Houston out of a possible 569 (574 inc the next 5, he's missed 91 games)
T-Mac has played in 297 games out of a possible 410 games in Houston (missed 113 as a Rocket)
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming
