Feigen continues (he's said it before) to state, firmly, that this did not happen.

facts are clear....

Tmac has screwed to former teams already...

Tmac announced the surgery days before the trade deadline... when 3 doctors had already said he did not need surgery...

and this is surgery on a "non weight bearing part of his knee'

meaning no structural damage...

meaning Tmac did not want to play though the pain like... hundreds of pro ballers before him have...

Ignorance.

For some reason McGrady was faking it all. His inability to jump or make any sort of explosive move. His pull up jumpers that were really just pulls. Yeah, I'm sure he wanted to average 15ppg on 39% shooting just so he could.....well I don't know what you think his motives were.

This is like saying Yao quit on the Rockets to play in the olympics.

Ignorance?? HAHAHAHAHAHA

When EVERYONE directly involved says "that's not the case" and there's NO reason a sane person would want to deliberately architect the equivalent of an nosedive plane crash on his career, and thus the only reasons to think that it's being done intentionally are because some external-to-Houston media members say so or imply so or because of your personal perception of the guy, well...

Or maybe McGrady has lost his marbles to the point where he's STILL buying Enron stock and everyone else is covering for him because... of some reason... where they gain something... that is in no way obvious or would make sense at face value.

people are stupid they will buy anything...

Tmac isnt the sharpest tool in the shed....

Enron along with most recently Lehman bros. were still trading pinksheet long after these guys announced they were insolvent... so people were still buying and selling the stock...

what nose dive are you talking about? Tmac got his surgery because he couldnt take the pain, like most other pro ballers just take it....

most are aware the surgery was done on a non weight bearing part of his knee...

in one year he will be as good as new... even if there still is pain... chance are likely... Tmac just has to grin and bear it... and pretend there isnt... his incentive a nice big contract...

he will get his payday... because as fragile in the mind and body as Tmac is... there will be teams willing to pay for his services... because bottom line it comes down to that physical...

and there was nothing structurally wrong with Tmacs knee before the surgery, and there wont be after...

now if Nba teams had a psych evaluation for 11 year pro, who has never dived for a lose ball in the 11 years I have been watching him play.... afraid to play in a allstar game because of the crime in the city, or afraid to sleep in a tent in Africa because a tiger or lion might get them...

or shock after a 11 year career... I have akes and pains...

then...

Yes, but barring minor debt/asset trades that may still be floating around (I'm not a stock expert), I wouldn't expect much Enron stock to STILL be there. I know there was some being traded 2-3 years after the collapse, but it's up to 7. That sort of thing strikes me as something that would only be done anymore between large, super-diversified traders. :) I'm sure Lehman will be trading for a while, too.

He should get another contract, but it will be far smaller and his marketing is probably going to be gone or mostly gone. I won't argue that he may have taken the surgery because he's mentally weak, that part is believable, just that he did it to screw over the Rockets and/or block a trade and/or etc, etc, etc with malevolent intent.
