Like Nickypoo,I don't see a team other than the Lakers that the Rockets shouldn't be able to beat.
But that's why they play the game. In the Playoffs a team's weaknesses get brutally exploited and I hope this yr the Rockets are the exploiters, not the exploited.

04-05 - no third option
06-07 - non-existent bench
07-08 - no Yao, no Rafer, still no third option
08-09 - no 'take-over' guy

That said, I feel we are a more complete team this season. Just wish T-Mac was still somewhere near his best.

No expectations. Realistically speaking I don't think we can advance without home court. Our opponent has been so great at home. And we have been so great at home. As it showed tonight..and as it showed all season we are just not good in tight situations. Our best player can't get the ball and we rarely put him in pick and rolls like we did against the Spurs earlier in the month. Hell we didn't do it tonight in the 4th quarter like we did in the 2nd and early 3rd quarter.

I just don't like this team under pressure..or this coach under pressure. So I have no expectations. We don't have what it takes to win in the playoffs...the one thing we could count on was home court..we blew that opportunity..

Without homecourt, I have no expectations.

Seriously this is the best thing to happen to the Rockets.

If we were 2-3, we would have pressure to win. Pretty much now, I really dont expect us to get out of the 1st round. Odds are against us and that's better for the Rockets. The only bad thing is if we win, we will face the lakers. But oh well, not like I have high expectations now.

Too bad we lost and too bad NO lost the game with 1 minute left, when they just needed to make 1 FT and how the Spurs got lucky on that last kings game. Bound to happen.

Another first round exit. Portland is too good at home.

I don't think it affects the Rockets as a team as much as it affects the Rockets fans. I think there will be a lot less stress being Rocket fans right now. If we lose its expected...if we win...well...

Agreed. At this point, I'll take anything. No expectations, no pressure.
It's good for my health that way.

We must win vs the Blazers, they don't have the experience, we have won them 7 of the last 8, the only game they won was over the buzzer,
i hope and think we will get to the second round finally.

I'm hoping HCA will make up for our lack of playoff experience. And we have played well on the road throughout the season, expecially after the allstar break. Your right that we don't beat the Rockets often, but this year 2 of 3 were played in houston. And last year the Blazer's were a much weaker team (no Rudy, Oden, Batum)

I'd like to have the chance to break out the 'beat LA' chant.

I'd rather enjoy not only winning a series for the first time in over a decade, but it would be glorious to see Utah beat the Lakers and then get to face them in the 2nd round only to be crushed by their superior talent once again.

I think that would make for some priceless entertainment on this here interweb site.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Us winning and pushing it in the Jazz face would make it better
