One thing from this game. Against this team it looks like Lowry/Yao p'n'r >>> Brooks/Yao p'n'r.

With Lowry, he comes off the pick and goes to the hole. With Portlands bigs being quite foul prone, and Lowry being particularly good at drawing contact, it's almost an instant foul on them.

With Brooks, he comes off the pick, has the mismatch, but backs off to the 3pt line and waits before making his move.

Solid enough game from the both of them in general. And, we won. yay!

Well, not sure if we're going to see much of our typical stuff in this series. After game 1 it looks like Nate is determined not let Yao beat them. But we should be ok. Scola/Landry seem to be shooting it pretty well, Brooks is about due for another hot shooting night, and Shane has been pretty consistent. Plus, they've had plenty of practice using the space this front/help sandwich creates for them now. They should pretty much know the spots they can get their points from. Hopefully it'll translate into a win next game.
