We got the guy who had the physical ability and skill set to be the next Michael Jordan. I still believe to this day McGrady could have been better than Wade, Kobe, and LeBron if he wanted too. The problem is, he didn't want to. Landing T-Mac in Houston was kinda like getting the chance to date a supermodel, then realize shes dumb as a brick and heartless. T-Mac is the biggest loser in sports history, and what makes it worse is if he wanted to he could have been one of the greatest winners ever.

Exaggerate much?

I'm going to take that as a "yes" to my question about exaggeration.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with hyperbole. Actually, it's kind of amusing how you always accuse your favorite team of having the worst players and signing / drafting the biggest losers in all of sports. It's also amusing that you named yourself after two of said players....

(See what I did there?)

I would trade those in for a championship in the next 5 years any day. A championship is on a whole other level, man. If you asked kobe how the 81 pts compares to his 4 rings, it wouldn't beat any of those championships. A championship is the result of hardwork, teamwork, and a little bit of luck. Some HOFer's never get one and "best-ever" debates in any sport always references to them. It's a good feeling.....one that htown hasn't felt in a long time. (Doesn't look like we're getting one in bball or football anytime soon).

P.S. Pls slap yourself before you even think about the letter "W"......

Disappointment indeed.

This goes for the whole team over the past 5 years. I can't believe it's been that long.

The T-Mac we all saw in Orlando was only here for a season. During the other four years, he was injured, became a chucker, lost his athleticism, and is now only known as Tracy McGrady.

Yao never became the dominant force I thought he would be. He's experienced season ending injuries as often as McGrady.

Player additions such as Stromile Swift, Derek Anderson, Steve Francis, and Bonzi Wells have not worked. Artest never really meshed, and was a ball stopper who's defense is overrated, but he wasn't a complete failure.

Jeff Van Gundy got fired for getting his team to overachieve.

5 years of disappointments. Yet, I'm looking forward to next season.

The MVP voters/media know it, he's an ineffective shooter, but those were two injury filled years, while last season he was shooting 42%, he also was averaging close to 44% during the winning streak (but went down when he got hurt). His shooting percentage has a direct relationship with his injuries. Even in '07, when he came back (without Yao) leading the team to a 20-11 record, while averaging 30/7/7/47% (in a month), the thing is, he plays very very well when healthy.

that`s LBJ numbers in a season!
