Didn't the Wizards announce that they're looking to trade all of their draft picks? Jermaine Taylor is the guy we should go after.

Chronicle Sports: A note from the Toyota Center :

By Jonathan Feigen

After sitting out the first round of Thursday’s NBA draft, the Rockets acquired Central Florida shooting guard Jermaine Taylor with the second pick in the second round according to two individuals with knowledge of the deal.

The Rockets picked up Washington's second-round pick.

The Rockets then acquired Sergio Llull with the 34th pick in the draft, a selection acquired from the Denver Nuggets, who held the Oklahoma City Thunder’s pick. Llull is a guard who plays professionally in Spain

Rubio may stay in Spain... the salary from the 5th pick maynot be enough for him to buyout his contract

Really like the Taylor pick. SG who can fill it up and at least tries on D. Senior which is what Morey likes. Looks like Wafer replacement, allowing team to spend what it takes to re-sign Ron.

Sergio Llull:
Height: 6'3" Weight: 176 lbs
21 year old
Play professionally in Spain as starting point guard
Below is extracted from DraftExpress:
46% of Llull's offense comes in pick and roll situations, which should tell you quite a bit the role he plays for his team. He's clearly their most creative force, the best athlete on the team and an incessant shot-creator. His excellent first step and strong ball-handling skills allow him to pick apart defenses extremely well, going either left or right, which also makes him a dangerous threat in transition. He's been featured on a number of ACB league highlight reels this season because of his ability to drive down the lane at full speed and throw down impressive dunks. Even if he looks a bit wild at times, he's managed to keep his turnovers extremely low all season considering his style of play, which is a big reason he's earned so much trust from his coaching staff. In fact, he ranks 3rd in the ACB in assist to turnover ratio, and 5th in the Euroleague. His pure point ratio (PPR) also ranks in the top 5 in both leagues.

Strength:
- Decision making
- Pick and roll play
- Relatively mistake-free
- Ball-handling skills w/either hand
- Ability to get in passing lanes
- Commitment to playing defense
- Aggressiveness
- Confidence
- Experience
- High-level productivity
- Ability to create for others
- Assist to turnover ratio
- Above average athleticism
- Size for position
- 3-point shooting
- [Ability to catch and shoot
- Solid free throw shooter

WEAKNESSES:
- Ability to get to free throw line
- Ability to play at different speeds
- Mid-range game
- Out of control at times
- Stuck between 1 and 2
- Ability to defend position at next level?
- Ability to fight through screens
- Can NBA rookie scale compete financially w/other options?
- Relatively unknown
- Ability to finish around basket
- Ability to finish through contact
- Frail frame

At first glance, really not a bad draft. Even if nothing works, it technically cost us nothing.
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor
