Who do the new Rockets remind you of?

Post#1 » by Sports Arsenal » Wed Oct 7, 2009 3:30 am

What other basketball player (current, or former) do the new Rockets remind you of?

Jermaine Taylor/Krik Snyder. Seems to have similar athleticism, and determination to get to the rack, but low basketball IQ, and seems to find himself in the wrong place at times.

Chase Budinger- Brent or Jon Barry 10/15 years ago- super athletic, hard playing white guy.

Garret Temple- not sure why, but Gerald Green

Andersen- nothing comes to mind

Trevor Ariza- Combining his frame and wearing the jersey number 1, I couldn't help but thing of McGrady every time I seen him.

Will Conroy- Andre Barret

whoa ariza and mcgrady? no way. just cause theyre 6'8 swingmen doesnt make them similar. t mac can at least creat his own shot. not ariza, and if he does its a bad one. dont get me wrong im glad he's here but there has to be a play set up for him. how many times was he just standing there doing nothing or dribbling into double teams and jackin up shots?

I can't recall a player that Landry reminds me of.

Scola = Divac
TMac = Walton
Brooks = Carl Lewis on speed / Michael Schumacher
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

Just cause Budinger is white he reminds people of Bird? Really? I don't recall Bird being as athletic as Chase. Nor was Bird a volleyball playing dude from SoCal. He was a hick from French Lick, Indiana.

New?

Huh?
Dunno. I don't normally do these PLAYER X = PLAYER ? things, but I was really bored at that moment.

I've already stated that I can't recall, as a team, any other team that remotely resembled the one we may/may not have this year (dependent on whether TMac comes back)
Morey 2020.
