Good deal. No more back then gone "I tried to do it too early", please.
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

Here's my dream T-Mac scenario:

Wed Nov. 25 vs. Dallas : McGrady 16 pts on 44% shooting / 5 Assists / 5 rebounds (21 minutes)
Fri Nov. 27 vs San Antonio : McGrady 19 pts on 46% shooting / 5 assists / 6 rebounds (23 minutes)
Sun Nov. 29 @ Oklahoma City : McGrady 27 pts on 42% shooting / 5 assists / 5 rebounds (33 minutes)
Monday, November 31. Tracy McGrady traded.

That would be nice.

I'm glad that he's not starting practice tomorrow. My big fear was going right back into the "I'm ready...well, 80% ready....no wait, my knee hurts, need to rest a game...um, how about no back-to-backs? I'M OUT!" routine of last season.

Get him healthy and let's go from there.

Fixed that for you.

I'm the Bob Villa of Rockets Fan-dom. Fixing stuff right and left. Like a blur.

A blur of righteousness.

Blurry righteousness? Sounds like something Dick Cheney would think of.
(Hey, don't throw that!)

This is a joke, right? (It's early. My irony filter doesn't wake up until 10.)

If I wasn’t in camp right now I would be at the church gym practicing my underhand free throws and doing my deep knee bends.

For true?

***EDIT: Crap. Matt Carol got me again. What an irrepressible imp, he is.

By this time a huge chunk of Rocket's fans would trade away McGrady for a nice cold six-pack so they could clebrate him being gone.(I'm not one,but understand the feeling.)

What's important is what the Houston GM thinks and he has been very clear. He wants a superstar. Morey is not trading McGrady and his expiring contract for anything less. McGrady isn't going to be traded for any of the League's good players,Morey is holding out for a playmaking star.

What everyone forgets is at end of season McGrady can be used in a sign-n-trade for any size contract, and only a chunk of first season has to be gauranteed. To a team facing an elite FA just walking away, the Rockets can offer McGrady(so the other player can get more money, making the trade even more agreeable),a couple of Firsts, some cash and maybe a young player as a throw in.
Morey is not giving that up for just another slighly overpaid decent/good player. Sorry.

Who wants to get RID OF a "Superstar" so desperately they burn $23 million to do so?

$23 mill is a lot to just melt away a good but somewhat overpriced player. The Knicks could not turn Marbury into gold. the Blazers got nobody for LaFrentz. I don't see the specific case where T Mac REALLY works in that context. It's something that MIGHT in theory work....just not in reality.

The Blazers could've gotten God himself if they wanted to trade LaFrentz's contract. They elect to let it expire to save money. Knicks could've traded Marbury to a number of teams but they don't want any contract longer than 1 year so they stay put.

Paul Gasol was traded for Kwame Brown's expiring contract and Crittenton.
A number of stars in the past have been traded for expiring, its not that far fetched.

Now the Rockets may not be able to get a star in return for Mcgrady but they will definitely do better than Stephen Jackson and Corey Maggette.(that's the reason why u came by right)
