It's possible if Pops didn't have a fully guaranteed contract. What this indicates is that Pops' presence isn't worth risking the luxury tax. After all, he's only a bench warmer who sees very little PT.

Beware. Trade's brewing. And don't expect to like it when you 1st hear about it.

Did you happen to see DE and Simmons' "breakup" on twitter last week? Epic.

Why waive Pops? Seemed like a good hustling big that rebounded, on a small salary. :S Unless a trade is coming...

I was under the impression that his deal was guaranteed for only $50,000?

Yeah, thanks for giving us Pops back, guys. Obviously he's not the next coming of Hakeem (to randomly pick another African player our teams have shared), but the Raps really, really need him.

But any move your GM makes, I would tend to support it on principle. He's clearly got some magic statistical formula for winning in the face of massive injuries.

You're welcome. Now trade us Bosh and Evans for Mcgrady and Scola.

Good luck to Pops.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming
