What I don't understand is, the idea of him playing against Cleveland, but then Adelman mentioning he did not want to play McGrady in the stretch where they play four games in five days (one in which we have from the 15th to 19th). Looking at the schedule we also have a couple of back to backs after that, so I'm not sure if Adelman would be too interested in that either. The article starts with something like next week, but that quote essentially means early January or late December?

Yeah, got confused with, “I told him I could throw him out there against LeBron next Wednesday, see what level he’s at,” Adelman said facetiously. “He didn’t think that was a good idea until he’s completely healthy.”

Which kind of gave of a notion that T-Mac was opposed to the idea, but "facetiously," should have given it away.

Great news!!! this is exactly what this team needs, a facilitating guard that can create for others and do it without turning over the ball.
