Drama queen. The last thing this team needs is a drama queen coming in and mucking up the great chemistry that has developed. I'll take chemistry with mediocre talent over blown chemistry with a single injury-prone star with an attitude.

He needs to get with the program and remember who calls the shots.

T-Mac has said time and time again all he wants to do is to win, He's not Iverson and people should begin to realize that. We won 22 games from playing hard night after night and T-Mac was in the line up so I fail to see why he can't aid our cause now.

TMac said he was GTG last season up until his lame announcement. TMac said he was going to be back on Wednesday. TMac says alot of things, you get to a point when you just have to call BS.

His habit of running to the media is very much Iverson-esque, and it is unacceptable. Adelman - rightly - isn't going to play that game. You're gonna suit up and get some camera time just to try and prove a point with the coach? GTF outta here, this is a multimillion dollar operation that doesn't like surprises or drama queens. It's no wonder the team appears to be out of patience with this guy. You wanna talk to the coach, you have ample opportunity to do that outside of game time. There's no room for someone who pulls stunts like this on this team.

I *truly* hope that TMac comes back and plays on this team at a high level. But forgive everyone if our level of confidence in the man has shrunk over the past year particularly. Playing childish games like this does nothing to reassure people. It simply reinforces the fears we have developed. Will he help or destroy this team? That is the question coach gets paid to answer. This guy is no novice; the fact that TMac is not playing should say something there.

We're doing way better than I thought we would, and I'm sure our record is better than every projected us to be up to this point. Will we make the playoffs? Probably not. But I like the way we're playing right now. We're unpredictable and can beat any team on any given night, that's good basketball.

I am sorry but you need to look up the definition of 'good basketball' because that my friend is not it.

And its kinda sad around here when the majority of people would rather lose games just like the one we lost tonight....just so they don't have to put up with 1 player for 3/4 of a season. Comeon people. Winning isn't easy and this wouldn't be easy but if you people should know anything its that simply...no one man can break the Rockets locker room or chemistry. The only issue you could possibly have with McGrady is that he isn't fully healthy...because if he is I find it really hard to believe that he won't bow to whatever Adelman wants him to do on the court. This is his contract year. This is a use and let go type of deal. He needs us...the Rockets need him.

I really think some of you need to grow up. And I am also starting to see that a lot of you just don't care about winning. You rather not invest in winning b/c it hurts when you lose. Or you take pleasure in pleasant surprises like beating the Lakers in LA because hey..thats not supposed to happen. I mean god dam the season has just begun how the hell can you give up already.

I admit I didn't think the Rockets would make the playoffs but I thought we'd have 2 wins right now. The mere fact that we have 7 is enough for me to believe that something can happen this year if McGrady is healthy.

A lot of people just simply believe Tmac is ready to play because Tmac said so when Adelman the coach said he is not. Being the team coach, Adelman has the responsibility to get the best team on the court and try to win a game. Adelman is a veteran coach and the 11th winningest coach in NBA. People have to trust Adelman know what he is doing with this team. If Adelman think Tmac is ready to play, he is ready. If Adelman think Tmac iss not ready then Tmac is not ready period. End of story.

Rockets do not want a repeat of last season. It is as simple as that.

I don't know Iggy, I really don't know.
You say break the chemistry, but let's be honnest, this team plays good , or not so bad, right now, because they hustle on D and are unselfish.
That's not really Tmac strenghts. I mean, I think we're gonna make the playoff, with him or not. But what is make noise in the PO?
Maybe going to the secound round with him, whereas witheout him we stay in the first round?
I don't know if the development of Brooks and Ariza and Landry, which would IMO be hampered by Tmac's presence, is worth the second round of the playoff or now.
I want McGrady to be back and to be successfull, I don't want him to disrupt the team or so.

You can also see this as a huge plus. If your D and hustle are good then TMAC could come and improve your weaknesses which is scoring, mostly on times when you really have to make a basket and creating plays for others, which with all do respect to Brooks he still isnt a pure point guard...

I don't see how T-Mac's gonna be healthy this soon after MF. Usually takes 1 year, at LEAST.

Yep. That's something that even those of us who would welcome McGrady back with open arms have been wondering about as well.

The big question is: which TMac actually shows up when he makes his big debut? The one who was shooting in the 20%s last year and taking lots of shots from people who were playing better? The one who says he's fine and then ends up hobbling up and down the court, "chasing" someone who's on a 30/12 night? Or the one who used to be a relaible 25/7/6 guy?

If the former, then he's a cancer. If the latter, then he's gold for us. Big gamble. Is it a surprise that Adelman doesn't feel much like taking that bet after weathering a ridiculouslky hard start with no stars and coming out 8-6?

Adelman has to weigh the possible negatives above all else. He will not ignore past history in doing so. What that means is that unless TMac is in top form, he'd do more harm than good in coming back. Nothing personal.

T-Mac's MRI examination on Sunday postponed.
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/spo ... 34440.html

Exam postponed

The examination planned for Tracy McGrady on Sunday, a day after he did not attend the Rockets' home game against the Kings because of a sore back, was postponed until today, team spokesman Nelson Luis said.

Barring problems with his back, McGrady, 30, is scheduled to practice and undergo an MRI today, the next step in his comeback from microfracture knee surgery.

Having back problem before a full practice? Not good sign...

That's right! We should hear the results today, right?

And then I know they want to run him through a full practice tomorrow. Is it possible that he returns for the Mavs game?

Where is this at right now?
