Do you like this trade?

Post#1 » by bleedblue3303 » Tue Dec 29, 2009 9:52 pm

All the salaries match up in ESPN trade machine. 3 team trade between NYC, Houston, and GS

The KNICKS get:

TMAC 1 year 22.8 Million
Speedy Claxton 1 yr 5.2 million

GS gets:
Jordan Hill 2 yrs 2.4 million
Chase Budinger 3 yrs 725 k
Jefferies 2 yrs 6.4

Houston gets
Anthony Randolf 2 yrs 1.8 million
Al Harrington 1 yr 10 million
Edy Curry 1 yr 10.5 million
Azubuike 1 yr 3.1 million

The Knicks do it to dump Salary. Houston does it to get Randolph and has Harrington for Playoff push this year. GS does it to get Jordan Hill a player they liked and another young player in Budinger.

haha. The drinks thing is an ongoing "trade" joke here.

no, i don't really like it... i think GS will not do it too.

Jeffries is a contract blackhole for them and i think he will do nothing much in GS except rot on their bench.

Although we can pick up Azu and randolph, the prospect of seeing curry in Houston will scare the crap of Rox fans. I'm sorry to say this but i think NY is going to need another year before curry's contract will be valuable. Jeffries is stuck in there too unless the knicks can find a GM who will pick up that deal. If Curry is going to be included in the deal for us, i rather let Tmac rot and expire his contract.

I like ANY Trade to get T-Mac out of H-Town. (So long as Brooks, Battier, and Landry aren't involved.)

Most rockets are drunk after reading this post. This trade only benefit one party - the Knicks while the other 2 parties suffer with bad contracts. Only a knick fan can propose such lopsided trade

If Houston got back a bag of poop for T-Mac, then Morey should be GM of the year, because he would have robbed somebody
