I don't get why leagues look at protests like these, like the Ireland/France match a few weeks ago or the Suns/Spurs game a few years ago. They'll admit something went wrong that was outside the control of the teams, but then they'll do nothing.
I'm sorry I haven't been funny. I am not a comedian. I am Lenny Bruce.

What will happen if it is successful is that we have to play the last 1.10 of OT again.

If they review the game then wouldn't Jason Kidd get that Flagrant he should have been assessed?

It won't happen unless NBA want to be a joke. Referee make mistake all the time if every team starting protesting then there will be many games that need to be replayed. The last successful appeal between Heat and Hawks was due to the Hawk's home court stat official's error and not referee's error and hence has to be replayed as the home court stat official's error provide benefits to the home team.
If NBA would to replay the game between Rox and Mavs then every team would start sending in tapes and evidence since referees had made numerous errors. For example, back on 2007 playoff, mavs player handle the ball with his foot clearly 1 feet outside the court and the referee allowed the play continue which is also wrong application of rule.

It wasnt a mistake. If dampier wasnt dumb enough to throw an elbow at 5 ft aaron brooks after he got stopped from scoring by 5 ft ab, the ref wouldn't have given him a technical. He threw the elbow with malicious intent. What other reason would you throw an elbow when a midget just held on him to make a safe foul?

the league had the hawks and heat replay the last part of the game because of some fouls or somesuch nonsense.

Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

it would be awesome if they reviewed the game and suspended Dampier for a game as a result.

The error in the heat vs hawk game was that the hawk stat crew mistakenly recorded Shaq had 6 fouls while he should have 5 fouls. The error caused Shaq to be out of the game. As the error is by the hawk stat crew and the hawk won the game, the league ordered the game to be replayed. The league also fined the Hawks some $$ for this error.

Dirk shot the free throws after the Landry collision, meaning he had the ability to re-enter the game... but he didn't... what happens if we have to do a rematch? Could Dirk play?
