The crimes of NBA Fans!

Post#1 » by kam_soluusar » Fri Jan 8, 2010 7:06 am

Landry not even getting a whisper in A/S balloting. And McLady being ahead (in fact holding a starting spot) in the A/S game. Landry should feel tha he is being discriminated against!

Player Pos GMs MPG FG% FT% 3PT% RPG APG SPG BPG PPG
Landry, Carl PF 35 26.9 .572 .865 - 5.8 0.7 0.5 0.9 16.9
Gasol, Pau PF 22 36.1 .552 .847 .000 11.4 3.5 0.4 1.7 16.8
Duncan, Tim PF 31 31.7 .550 .764 .000 10.1 3.0 0.6 1.8 19.8
West, David PF 33 35.3 .479 .856 .333 7.4 2.4 0.8 0.7 17.3
Martin, Kenyon PF 32 34.4 .464 .618 .235 8.4 1.7 1.4 1.1 11.1
Love, Kevin PF 18 32.0 .471 .800 .448 12.5 2.9 1.1 0.4 15.6
Nowitzki, Dirk PF 34 37.6 .476 .884 .387 8.1 2.5 1.1 1.3 24.9
Aldridge, LaMarcus PF 34 35.4 .489 .795 .714 7.8 1.8 0.6 0.5 15.9

Now like him or hate him, Nowitski is the Franchise player in Dallas, So he gets a slot, and I have no complaints about that. However, Duncan is on the decline, Ginobli or Parker are the stars in San Antonio, Martin is on the decline, West is second to Paul and is irratic in his player, Gasol is Second to Kobe, and if he wasn't injured, would probably have better stats this year. Love is a great player for someone so young, and he to probably has a case to make the A/S game, (But Minnesota suck, so I don't think it will happen anytime soon!) Aldridge is okay, (Second to Roy) but I think Landry's stats speak for themselves, especially if they were starting Minutes. Hopefully the fans won't vote him, but the coaches will. It is a criminal act if Landry is not an A/S this season. and I am saddened that the Rockets aren't campaigning to make him one.

Yup Landry is definitely my unsung hero of the season. An underrated player who gets no attention.

He should definitely be All-Star considered.

Only knock, as mentioned, is he needs to possibly get a few more rebounds - like 7 or 8. But coming off the bench it makes sense to only get 5.

Dude is a stud. Carl is definitely one of my favorites..

Also I'm pretty sure that the McGrady / Iverson thing is the work of an automated system run by some hacker that thinks fan voting is dumb.

At the very least, you really should have to have game tickets to vote...

Laundry is not an all star. And if anyone is under-appreciated in the NBA, it's Kevin Love. He's putting up historical rebounding numbers while playing a very good all around game.

sry but landry needs to rebound better. still under 6rpg. the offense is great, but reboudning is the same, which isnt great. all star consideration maybe but an actual spot on the all star team, i dunno. theres pau/boozer/zbo/duncan/dirk/west/lma . prolly west, zbo, and boozer dontmake the team. i dont see how landry will .

If he doesn't win 6th man of the year, there is no justice in the world.

Now that one is more on the mark. Ginobli is having an off year so far, I can't think of anyone other than those 2 that deserves it..

Jamaal Crawford has been pretty good off the bench too.

Agreed, but Landry's PER is higher (Top 15 in the league), he's also averaging more 4th quarter points (top 3 in the entire league), he's averaging more points per minute than anyone in the entire league, AND on top of all that he's had the most 20 point games off the bench (16-17).

Landry's easily got the case for the 6th man of the year, while also having a legitimate case for the MIP, lol it would be awesome if he won both, though I think the MIP might go to Brooks.

Just looked up the points per minute thing, he's 11th, not 1st.

Still very good.
