Reports coming from some Chinese media sources announced that Yao will not be on the Chinese National Team this summer, and will get the entire summer to continue his rest & rehab.

Also thank you for Yao coming to his senses.

Whatever. Yao played in 77 of 82 regular season games last year and in 9 of the 13 playoff games.

Yeah, it's a re-building year for us. Stocking up for the future.

I heard that Morey already signed Yao's unborn child to a D-League deal with the Rio Grand Valley Vipers.

Is Yao allowed more than one child? Of course if he lives here it's not an issue but if he lives in China I thought they were limited to one child per couple?

According to the report on Yao's baby, since both Yao and his wife are the only child of their family, Yao and his wife can have 2 instead of one :D

He needs all the rest that he can get. That, and limited minutes next season. The durability of big guys these days..... Oden, Griffin, etc. Just astounding.
