[NY Times] Chuck Hayes

NY Times seems to be fascinated by our team. It had articles of Daryl Morey, Shane Battier, and now, Chuck Hayes.

hayes needs to be resigned , w/ an all star player he'll obviously be better on the court , w/o he's still a baller .

I was wondering about that when I saw the article yesterday, TMU.

I think that maybe, writers are sick of talking about All Stars, and LeBron James 2010 speculation. Maybe the Media is looking for a different angle in their papers.

And Maybe David Stern isn't Adolf Hitler Reborn.

It's good to see some of the "Unsung" heroes of the NBA getting a little Credit. If Chuck Hayes scored 15 - 20 PPG, then it would be a different story. We love Chuck because he just works. He isn't Athletically gifted, but he uses all of his heart and brains when he plays. Just another reason to love our organisation.

I hope that Chuck never leaves Houston, he will make a great mentor to other Role players, and he does make us better as a team. Which is the only way we can win this year!

I still hate him. I get why he's so valuable and so wonk-liciously huggable. I get all that. Doesn't matter, though. Still hate him.

Maybe it's the free throws?

Hey Chuck is the man. I said it before and will say it all along. There is nobody who hustles, boxes-out, and plays tougher than Hayes. Truly an inspiration to all kids who are playing the post position and want to learn the fundamentals of how to box out and man up on defense.

Hayes is truly one of my all time favorites. An underrated professional who knows exactly what to do. That's why RA is sticking to him as the starting center. Nobody else has come close.

I constantly read about how great Hayes is on defense. How much better the Rocekts are when he's on the court or how the nujmkbers show his defensive efectivness. If he's so important and great why does Adelman play him so few minutes? Doesn't Rick check the numbers and see how efective he is?

He plays him so few minutes because

He sucks at offense, tends to foul alot
Our starting line-up is not really a good offensive team. (Battier, Ariza, Chuck Hayes)

like wat diamond said. he does a lot better w/ 6'11+ big who can defend and rebound, like yao. byhimself he's much more vulnerable. he also do better as a backup pf instead of starting
