I keep referring to this as an "All-In" trade for New York. It has the ability to be very painful, or very joyful.
One thing that I do think that New York can feel safe about is that if - worse case scenario - they strike out with Lebron/Dwayne/Bosh, then at least Walsh won't overpay for someone who isn't a max guy just so that he can say he got something done.

The Knicks essentially paid $100,000 for a lottery ticket that everyone else paid $1 for. Furthermore, they also paid for the Rockets' lottery ticket as well.
