LeBron is 25 and wearing kneepads now.
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

lebron sucks, forget that guy, i'd rather go w/ injury proners kevin martin and yao ming , w/ undersized point guards and overrated swingmen . that's the way to go

LeBron leads in career minutes played among players at the age of 25.

melo aint free agent
remember melo actually signed the max extension
while lebron, wade, bosh signed one year short
thinking they will be 7 years vet and can get a max contract equal to 30% of the salary cap
which that 1st year salary will be more than the last year of their extension contact
but with bad eco and the salary cap shrinking
look like melo may got the better deal

Not true. Lebron, Wade, and Bosh all have a player option for another season. Hence if the cap is really bad, these 3 players can still have the option to opt in and wait for 2011 season. Such scenario would be a nightmare for those teams that were clearing cap space for 2010.

Ok, I didn't know this. Given that the cap is probably going to be bad (owners lost 400mill right?), and there is potentially going to be major instability/lockout friction going on this summer would you say this is actually a scenario that's in play?

My God, that would be hilarious ....

Edit: HILARIOUS!

The major instability/lockout friction will be the 2011 summer which is the reason many believe Lebron, Wade, Bosh will not opt in but take the maximum contract available (6 years) as most expect the New CBA will be of less favorable terms for the players. Meaning players like Yao and Melo may be the class of FA that will be greatly affected by the New CBA. Before the injury, most expect Yao to be a FA and not opt in for another season. But with the injury, all expect Yao to opt in
