IDK why people think he would chose Houston over his favorite/dream/hometown team of Detriot.
Which he spoke of earlier and saying he would love to play there over anywhere else.

I stopped reading here. I'll explain why:

Battier is getting recruited HARD by Dem power brokers in Texas. HARD. They've been begging him to retire and run for office (everything from city council to senator) for 3+ years. And say what you will about politicians. blah blah blah

But Pattycake's professional future is in Texas.

He ain't dumb. He ain't leaving...at least not for long.

NO damn it read the trade I want legendary feedback, prove my trade is **** for us.

And Like you said Battier isn't "leaving for long"
He could sign in Detroit retire and in 2-3 years run for office, no problem.

Martin, DA and Hayes for Okafor and Fernandez? Bad trade idea.

Okafor is a serviceable PF/C but his contract is negative value. Okafor is also not an upgrade over Scola. Getting Okafor is a waste of cap space if Scola is retained. I would rather have Brad Miller than Okafor from overall value point of view. Or even Hayswood should be a cheaper option than Okafor.

Fernandez is inconsistent. He is more of a backup than a starter. Rockets already have Chase and I would rather play Chase.

Martin on the other hand is an NBA starter even with with his weak defense. He can get that 20pts a game Consistently and Efficiently.

Return to Houston Rockets
