I loved the way Sura played. He always did his best every night and played great on both ends of the floor. He was very athletic and even competed in the slam dunk competition, as well as the 3 point contest which shows how versatile he is. Just my 2 cents, but I think Bob isn't appreciated enough and has been forgotten, which is why I made this thread.

Damn I didn't realize how athletic he was. He reminds me of Shannon Brown a little bit.

i have always liked Sura as a player.
a triple-double player.
if only injury did not rob him of his career, he could have been our starting pg... it was painful to watch rafer starting at pg.

I really liked his toughness. Never knew he was so athletic in his younger days. But I think the thing I remember the most, and it may even have been from this message board (this was when he was with the Rockets), was that someone said he looked like a 35 year old man with a 12 year old's haircut.

The only problem with Sura is he couldn't throw the ball to Yao in the post. He would even post up Juwan Howard. I did like his intensity. He was also a good all around player. His season with the Rockets he was one of a handful of guys who averaged 10-5-5.
