trade Jeffries, Ariza and 14th pick to Philadelphia for Brand, and 2nd pick

2nd pick -> Evan Turner

C - Yao, Hill
PF - Scola, Brand
SF - Battier, Budinger
SG - Martin, Turner
PG - Brooks, Lowry

done

personally i think Morey is going after the 3rd pick to get Derrick Favors

Would you give K-Mart and the #12 to get the #3? My ears might perk up for that...

As for the PHI trade you described, I don't think that's what the Sixers are seeking in return for the #2. Tee way I read the wiretap, they want immediate relief, as in a Brand-sized TPE, not '11 expirings. And I'm not sure what Ariza does for them, since they already have a SF glut with Iggy and Thad.

Brand isnt garbage.. I think he will have a break out year if we trade for him.. Playing our style with Yao.. Then Turner could also go #1, so that would also garuntee us one for Wall or Turner (or some unknown Morey player, hopefully not)

I would actually trade for Brand and the number 2 pick if the Rockets can't get Bosh. Brand used to be one of my favorite players and I still haven't lost faith in him. I think the Sixers system and him changing his shooting form were two things that were detrimental to him. His game was never really based on athleticism so I really don't know why he declined that much. Does anyone think Turner could play SF because if he could Brooks, Martin, Turner, Brand, and Yao would be sick.

Hell no. We shouldn't trade Big for Small right now, and Nene's a good C who's only got 2 years left.
