+1. His defense is beyond awful. Possibly the worst big man defender in the league.

Obviously you decided not to pay attention to the NBA after the all star break. Amare is arguably playing the best basketball of his life while Bosh has no intention of re-signing with us. All we're asking for is expirings and draft picks. Amare on the other hand is so close to reaching the finals. Another piece here and there and the Suns will be a real championship team.

I think the best deal raptors can get is from our expirings and draft picks. Too bad for them Bosh didn't include Houston in the wish list. Unless they consider an injury prone Bynum a better trade.

Might be a blessing in disguise that we don't land Bosh. The predraft measurements are out, and there are a lot of Center prospects. Obviously we want to win now, but I don't think our biggest need is more scoring (Bosh), I'd be happy if we drafted a big and acquire a vet center through FA.

Yao/FA/Hayes
Scola/Hill

2 low post threats, 2 defensive specialists and whatever else the FA will bring

Pair Yao with Hayes and Scola with Hill

Jordan Hill's development this year will really dictate how well we do IMO

I'm just going to clear something up here. Amare isn't as good of a jump-shooter as Bosh.

Amare mostly takes his on the catch and shoot, while Bosh's entire offensive arsenal includes his mid-range game. He has the 2nd best mid-range game in the league for big men (behind Dirk).
He has step-backs, fade-aways, fakes and jab-steps. Amare will mostly just use the jab-step and shoot, but other than that he's just a catch and shoot guy.
The reason Bosh is the second best scoring big man in the NBA, is because he has such an explosive first step to go along with his smooth mid-range game. Not to mention bosh can even stretch it out to the three if need be.
Maybe Amare would fit better and would be easier to get for you guys, but he isn't the mid-range player Bosh is (still a good one though). I mean, Amare is assited on 67% of his shots from 10-15 feet, while Bosh is only assisted on 35% of his shots from that range. Then, Bosh is also a better shooter from 16-23 feet despite being assisted on 3% less of his attempts from there.

Also, Bosh is an iso scorer, but it's not like he'll all of a sudden get confused when asked to finish around the rim. He iso's so much because the Raptors second best scorer is a guy who can't create his own offence (Bargnani) and because Sonny Weems is the Raptors most potent perimeter scorer. You'll surely have to dump it down to him, but it's not like he's Al Jefferson and will force his way through 3 guys and put up a fading hook-shot.

Scola's better.
Keep your big ugly 17.2m contracts away from us. It buurrrnnnsssss!

Edit: If Morey is honestly going after Bosh, I'll posthumously bite my tongue.
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor
