List of untouchable imo:

1-Yao 2-Scola 3-Battier 4-Brooks. Those are the most important players for me. Obviously Ariza has more value than Battier, so i would trade Ariza.

But do the Rockets really need to make a big trade? if Yao is healthy we can go the conference finals pretty easily. Lowry-Budinger-Ariza-Hayes-Andersen, good bench.

And also, if Lebron and Wade go to Chicago, what's the point of making a big trade and having big contracts on our payroll. Stern will make sure if the bulls make the finals, they'll win it all. If all the power in the east start going to certain teams, this will mean the demise of smaller market teams like IND, NO. Unless all the playoff games start going to 7 games *wink wink*

I'd put Lowry ahead of Brooks, personally.
Not sure where Battier is on that list.
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

I am with you about Lowry ahead or Brooks.
I am a fan of Battier, but as the way the roster is built i don't see Battier playing a lot of minutes. I think his role will be more of a player coach. If that is the case and his contract can get us a Bosh, Boozer or some other elite PF then i think he is expendable.

We didn't really trade him. Yes, we got two draft picks for him, but he was going to sign as an FA with Toronto because the FO didn't want to re-sign him and was begging him to retire.

If we'd used them for something better than Boki Nachbar, it could have worked out for us, as letting a franchise guy retire on his last contract is something of a bad cap management practice that should usually be avoided. It does help set up a franchise legacy, there's just a cost for it - one that typically only helps when you're winning and in creating diehard fans.

And hopefully will not happen to Battier, which is the perfect role player for any championship team, he only had bad luck atm.

One of Ariza, Battier and Budingers needs to be traded, or trade Martin and use Ariza as SG.
Trade Ariza for a big man is the perfect plan.
