Further to that, I keep thinking of Al Bundy. "Look at those Hooters!"

"I don't think Michael had to retire for us to get the spotlight, because when you win, it commands attention."

I really dont like the fact that we're standing still but I'll trust morey on this one. He's done it before and I believe he will do it again. In addition, I don't want to be that team that panics and makes stupid moves. Many great teams have showed that sometimes the best move is no move. While I'm not convinced that our current team can compete with the best of the best, I guess we should at least see what we can do before pulling the trigger on something crazy. I do disagree with the common theme with half the people on this board which is that we should keep ariza and battier. If you have bargaining chips you use them, we need to get as much time for chase and taylor imo and if we can use battier or ariza to get talent why wouldn't we? I keep hearing this player doesn't fit as if we need a team full of gritty, blue collar type players. Talent wins in the nba... we already have enough high character hard working guys, we need talent now.

I am fine with the team as currently constructed but seeing the Mavs get Chandler and the Jazz get Jefferson yesterday, I can't help but feel a little antsy. Would love to have that ever-elusive long athletic big who can block shots (aka Yao insurance)
