But seriously, I think the Knicks have improved. While I hate their signing of Ray Felton (he's extremely overrated), he's definitely an upgrade over Duhon or Douglas. They also got Magic Randolph and Turiaf for David Lee - who's now useless since Amare does things better. The fact that they've added size to their frontcourt already makes their team better than their previous one.

I think they'll compete for the 7th/8th seed.

+1. That doesn't even factor into another year for Gallinari's growth. I'm on the bandwagon that Randolph is a tad bit overrated (I mean realistic expectations), but I'm interested to see how he plays where he'd get consistent minutes, unlike Golden State with Nelson running the show. I still think we could potentially end up with a lottery pick, but wouldn't be surprised if they were able to sneak into the playoffs.

Knicks are better. Amare > Lee in general and they add 3 rotation guys including Randolph who gives them some D above the rim...something they had none of.
CENSORED... No comment.

Amare Stoudemire wishes (Actually, I'm positive that he doesn't) that he was half as good as David Lee (but he should, because he isn't).

Lucky for the Knicks, Stoudemire didn't replace Lee, the other three did. I'm not sure that, in aggregate, they won't make up for his loss, but I'm hoping they don't.

Edit: If they get the burn to do so, they should more than make up for the loss of Lee, which really sucks.

If the Knicks really do sign Josh Howard then the value of the picks goes up. That would be a very, very bad move on their part. Dude is toxic.

This Knicks' team is another disaster in the making. Amare will play Zach Randolph's role perfectly and Raymond Felton will be a little more sane, but less talented Marbury. AWESOME
