Why stop at 6'10? What's stopping you from making him 7'10?

If Chuck Hayes were 6'10, we would not have snatched him from the D-League. He would have been drafted by a lotto team. The Clippers, maybe?

Some of us would then be trying to think of ridiculous trades to get him, while others would write clever rebuttals about how Morey could trade for him if he wanted to, were it not for Morey's Master Plan to dominate the league with above average role players.

he'd be pretty dominant on defense with that height, assuming he still played as hard as he does now

This was my first thought. You pretty much captured it all plus some. So in essence, a good ole "what he said!" would sum this up.
