Miller, Hayes, Scola, Hill and Patterson should be able to provide enough minutes in the post to keep Yao's minutes down. This is why the team acquired so much depth up there.

Out of all those players, Scola is the only one that I have confidence in. The Rockets have a lot of bigs on the team, but only one quality big if Yao is out.

I don't think this a big story but rather the national media making it a big deal since there is nothing of note happening in the sports world. I figured that Yao would lean towards retiring if was to break his foot once again. I mean he is what 30 years old and a whole life ahead of him with his family. I would think he wants to be able to walk and do whatever with his family. The only big news is that he thinks he will not being playing with the Chinese National Team anymore. Another thing I don't like the word quit. Quit is something Allen Iverson did in Memphis and Philly.

if he don't feels healthy next season or he miss the playoffs (WE ARE GOING TO BE IN THE PLAYOFFS), then iam pretty sure he will not sign a new contract, and if he sign one, it will no tbe a max.contract, more of a role-player contract, i believe in this guy.
