Draft Express reporting TMAC to Detroit For league min. for 1 year

I really thought a contender would have wanted him.. His workouts must have really been terrible. If only this dummy would have said he would come off the bench he would have been a Bull and made the 2nd round. I'm starting to pity him.

well dumars said its not official, they're just discussing. even if its for one year itsa complete waste. tmac already proved he can still play as a backup, if he cant accept that then **** it, thats wat he should be doing right now, and if by some miracle he can be starter quality then so be it. of corse if no team wants him even as a backup then thats just **** up. a fringe contender should take a chance at him, since they're already taking a chance on themselves.

This possible signing makes no sense since the Pistons already have a surplus of shooting guards and small forwards. Neither spot is a position of need for Detroit.

If Prince or Hamilton aren't moved, T Mac will fight with them for playing time and the young players backing them up will ride the bench.

There's also the question of how T Mac will fit in the Piston locker room and deal with being a reserve if he doesn't win a starting spot. I'd also have thought he wanted more than the vet minimum.

BTW, I get different stories on TMac.

Can he be a quality backup or is he washed up?

I'll appreciate people's observations.

washed up. But I'm pretty much a tmac hater so take my post with a grain of salt. He always had the talent to win games all by himself, but never used it. Maybe now that he doesn't have the athletic ability, he can mentally play better. He was always known to be a flip flopper.

Thanks for the info.

T-Mac will show in games what he can or can't do.
