Rockets 2010-11 schedule

Post#1 » by rocketsballin » Wed Aug 11, 2010 3:45 am

cant believe there's no thread on this, i completely forgot about the schedules

first 2 months not nearly as hard as last years. it's actually a reasonble first 2 months, not too hard or too easy. back to backs pile up in december but not vs last years deep playoff teams. dec 23-26 off games, then have a 3 game home stand w/ one day break on each game. vs wizards, heat, raptors .

i dunno if stern finally stopped hating us, or has pity now that he thinks yao is done, but im glad the schedule is much easier.

The schedule definitely look better than last season. The 4 teams that rockets meet only 3 times are:
Lakers (Rockets play 1 home 2 away)
Blazers (Rockets play 1 home 2 away)
Jazz (Rockets play 2 home 1 away)
Suns (Rockets play 2 home 1 away)

All 4 are expected playoff contenders. This means Rockets will have 4 more games against the bottom halves of Western Conference this season. Strength of schedule wise, this season is better for Rockets than last season.
